To finish our Ancient Greek topic, 6K were challenged to use at least 4 out of 8 given ingredients and in groups of 5, plan, design and make their own Greek feast. We saw lots of impressive blending of sauces and dips, bread stick making and balsamic vinegar creations, potato salads (using potatoes we harvested last week from our eco-allotment), much chopping and slicing and not a blue plaster in sight! All the home baking through lockdown has definitely paid off and it was great to see such confident, independent and creative cooks at work. Their creations were delicious (Mrs Butler and I tasted them all!) and beautifully presented. Keep cooking everyone!
